Photoshop freezing while using background remover (Photoshop Beta ver.24.7)

While using the background remover tool photoshop ramdomly freezes. Thank god it still lets you save the image as is but so frustrating to have to close and reopen over and over. Any fixes or am I the only one? Using Photoshop (Beta - version 24.7). Happens after removeing background and while using the +/- options to clean around edges.
