I have relied 'intensively' on photoshop for the past twentyfive years or more. Similarly, so have a considerably number of friends, colleagues and 'shareholders' and the general consensus (albeit a small number of forums) is that photoshop is becoming increasingly unreliable, issues particularly related to partner support (hardware and software; specifically zbrush). I can verify this across the four platforms of computer I use (Surface pro / desktop #1 / desktop #2 and laptop). This amounts to loss of work, time and income. Not to mention heartache, frustration and a profound sense of disloyalty / disservice to the customer / user. The increase in price seems to correspond with the very same decrease in reliability. Many of my colleagues are migrating to Krita (free), despite the compatibility issues. (other source: 1,428 already agree). What do you say?

@colin23128848f9az Im curious as to what steps you have taken to resolve your specific issues?
This is the first time you've posted in the community forum - so it doesn't appear you have asked for assistance here prior. I'm also curious of your workflow using Zbrush and Photoshop besides exporting into PS for a flattened redner.
