No files were open. I worked on other files yesterday but I had since closed them, but not PS.
I did this today:
1. File -- > Open
2. Browse to where the file was and clicked it
3. PS crashed after a while
I'm on Windows 10.

Hi @Juan Carlos Gonzalez-N. do you see the same crash with Ps release version, or just with Ps beta? Can you open any other pdf file with Ps beta?
Make sure you have the latest version: Adobe Photoshop Version: 26.4.0 20250115.m.2943 f9de926 arm64
Thanks,

I don't know. I don't normally use the standard version, but I launched it just now. It's PS 2025.
I can't access the menus. It's odd. When I click on any of them, I get a thin white bar. See screenshot.
By the way, I tried opening the PDF again in Beta, and it worked.

PS: The menu shortcuts didn't work in PS 2025. I can't really do anything.

Thank you for letting us know you are able to open the PDF now in Ps beta. It sounds like maybe your preferences are messed up. Try these directions below, for Ps release version, go to Photoshop Settings and do the same.
Try resetting Prefs for the Beta:
/Users/yourname/Library/Preferences/ Photoshop Beta Settings (Mac Ventura)
/Users/yourname/Library/Preferences/Adobe\ Photoshop\ \(Beta\)\ Settings (Mac)

C:\Users\user name\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop (Beta)\Adobe Photoshop (Beta) Settings
Launch BETA Photoshop While Pressing The Keyboard Shortcut
With Photoshop closed, press and hold Shift+Ctrl+Alt (Win) / Shift+Command+Option (Mac) on your keyboard and then Launch Photoshop the way you normally would.
