I did remove PS Beta after posting this, just in the event that it might be an issue. Must have been, because the issue went away. I also re-installed PS Beta, which now does not seem to be an issue. I know what to do if it comes back. Thanks.

If you are running a beta OS, have installed multiple versions of Photoshop, or have installed or uninstalled the Photoshop public beta, reconnecting either Desktop Application to PS requires manipulating PS.
In Order, this is the troubleshooting process:
1, Reset PS Preferences (Check to see if things are working - if not:)
2. Uninstall all versions of PS present
3. Reinstall only the versions of PS you need
If these items do not restore functionality,
4. Reset Lightroom Preferences
5. Reinstall Lightroom
If this doesn't work, it is reasonable to suspect the beta OS version is tripping you up.
Thanks,
