Hi @Joanna2655355441q1 could you explain what you mean that your Early Access tab has no toggles?  We need some more information to be able to help, could you share a screenshot of your workspace as well as your preference window?

Thanks,

Cory - Photoshop Product Manager

Please make sure you have latest Generative model selected in model picker. Click on "Fi" icon on Contextual Task Bar (button next to Reference Image button) and select "Firefly Fill & Expand"

Availability of the Reference depends on the Ai model you are using.  If you have Firefly Fill & Expand selected, then the Reference image option is there.

But the Reference option is unavailable for all of the other models at this time.

Sometimes I have had success by placing the reference on the same layer as below, but that has not been working so well for me recently.

What does work is asking Gen Fill to remove an item as in get rid of the green chair.  It did a very impressive job in this case I would say.

I could then use Remove Background from the red chair layer.

Place and size it in the room, and use Harmonize (from the contextual task bar) to get a good match and add the shadows.

Of course it could be that Generative Fill had refused to have any part in that dreadful clash of colours (red and green should never be seen).

image.pngI am sure the models will get better and better, and should remember how very new this tech is.
