in contextual task bar of photoshop beta, there was an option to select a reference image. Now it is not seen there. instead of that option now there are object replacement and insert object options. reference image option was helpful to replace an image as background. But that option is gone now. Pls add that option too. Thanks

You're absolutely right — the "Reference Image" option in the Contextual Task Bar was a really useful feature, especially for background replacement workflows. I also noticed that it's no longer there in the recent Photoshop Beta builds, and it's now replaced with "Object Replacement" and "Insert Object" options.

While the new tools are powerful in their way, the flexibility that came with referencing an image directly was unique and super helpful. Hopefully, Adobe brings it back or at least gives us the option to toggle it on. It made certain edits much more intuitive without requiring extra steps.

Would be great if more users could upvote or echo this feedback, maybe it'll help prioritize its return.
