Hello,
I have an issue when I am trying to remove an image from a picture, I will not enter anything in the generative fill. Once the process completes it will generate another image to replace the one I wanted removed. I don't know what I am doing wrong.

You need to tell it what you want to do. Enter a prompt in the field first.

The other user is incorrect, you do not need to enter a prompt for removal. You do need to make a selection that is bigger that the object you're removing. For example, if you are removing a person and you have a tight selction on that person, the AI will replace with another person. If you have a larger selection it will extrapolate the background.

Hi @dmarcel agree to disagree. Check the forums, many inconsistent behaviors or failures can be resolve simply by entering a basic prompt.

Kevin, I have found myself using Content Aware Fill in preference to Gen Fill a lot of the time. It often gets better results, is much quicker, and does cost you a Generative Credit. I guess we'll get a feel for what tool works best in particular situations going forward, but at the same time, they are telling us that the Ai tools are constantly learning, so what doesn't work well today, might do a better job tomorrow.

Any suggestions on what else to try if it is still replacing the person with a person I selected all availible background behind them and it is still putting an AI person there.
