Saving screen freezes v25.5 m2464

When I saved a file in Photoshop Beta v25.5 m2464 on Windows 11 23H2 22631.3007 my Save Window froze and simply said, “Working on it…”. It was only a small simple file, single layer, with a transparent background. Had to use task manager to stop Photoshop.

I'm using Beta 25.6 currently, and I haven't had that problem since, as I'm uploading the new Betas as they're released. I did reset my preference though, using Shift + Alt + Ctrl, and it fixed my window's magnification problem where while applying a zoom to one open window, it would apply the same zoom to other open window tabs. Now each window retains it zoom level.

It just happened again, so I consider this a showstopper. Here's a screenshot of the save screen. The only way to exit Photoshop is via terminating the process in task manager.

Hi @Mark28946455pilv are you having this issue with Ps release version or just Ps beta?

Try resetting Prefs for the Beta:
/Users/yourname/Library/Preferences/ Photoshop Beta Settings (Mac Ventura)
/Users/yourname/Library/Preferences/Adobe\ Photoshop\ \(Beta\)\ Settings (Mac)
C:\Users\user name\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop (Beta)\Adobe Photoshop (Beta) Settings )Win)
Launch BETA Photoshop While Pressing The Keyboard Shortcut
With Photoshop closed, press and hold Shift+Ctrl+Alt (Win) / Shift+Command+Option (Mac) on your keyboard and then Launch Photoshop the way you normally would.
