Since losing the ability to use Illustrator Beta, I'm now finding that when I try to open smart vector objects in Photoshop, which used to open in Illustrator and would launch the application if it is closed, now just give me the error message that Adobe Illustrator cannot be opened. I even get that message when I have the regular, non beta, version of Illusteator already open! In essence, I cannot open or edit any of the vesctor smart objects in my Photoshop files. I am still using Photoshop Beta.

Hi @ArtBoi you say... since losing the ability to use Illustrator beta, why, when did this happen?  Could you share one of these files so we can see if we are able to open them?  If so, send to shubert@adobe.com.

It may help if we could see your Photoshop beta System Info. Launch Photoshop beta, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.

Thanks,

Cory - Photoshop Product Manager
