What Have You Done to Photoshop Beta?

I’ve been using Photoshop Beta extensively over the past few months, and I’ve developed an amazing workflow that incorporates generative AI for expanding, cropping, and managing elements. This workflow has been a game-changer for my projects, allowing me to delete or add elements seamlessly.

However, over the last few days, I’ve noticed some significant changes that are impacting my workflow. The selection tool, which used to function perfectly, is now not selecting properly. It feels like my selections are no longer locked, meaning that any adjustments I make are affecting all areas of my image. This is causing a lot of frustration, as it disrupts the precision I need for my work.

I’m curious if anyone else is experiencing these issues after the latest update. What has changed? Is there a way to revert back to the previous functionality, or are there any tips or workarounds that others have found useful?

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

@Manuel32023585xkae please be aware that this is a beta (test) program - and explicitly states it should not to be used for production or "work". The point of participating in this program is to test new features prior to their release in the public/general audience version of Photoshop.

Does your workflow work in the General Release Photoshop?
