Current behaviour:

1. Use lasso tool, release mouse button -> floating toolbar appears.

2. Hold shift to select more -> floating toolbar is not hidden until mousedown.

Better:

1. Use lasso tool, release mouse button -> floating toolbar appears.

2. Hold shift to select more -> floating toolbar hides on shift down*

* unless toolbar is mouse-hovered and there is a possible scenario when shift+click does something different on the toolbar itself.

I know the toolbar can be pinned and hidden manually, but this would be great for when you keep it floating. The toolbar itself otherwise gets in the way a lot.

I was meant to say that Shift is just one example. Naturally it should similarly hide with Alt, maybe even any keyboard key down.
