Json Parse Error when hiding a layer in photoshop

Hi,

I am using photoshop 2024.  Recently whenever I try to hide/unhide a layer on files I get a JSON Parse Error it happens everytime, is this a bug or can I do something myself to stop this happening?

I am getting the same error when I select layers in my panel. Photoshop 25.7.0 Despite seeing this reported elsewhere, I have not see one single solution. This has never happened before. ANy suggestions of what is causing this and how to fix it?

I fixed this by lowering the dpi of my image. It was set at 1000 dpi to meet the requirements for publication. I lowered it to 300 dpi.
