Alt+drag layer mask - Copies but does not update layer mask icon

Hello, I have already posted this error in the forum. at:

I also had contact with Adobe support. The employee got on my PC and confirmed the bug. Since then there have been 2 new PS updates. Unfortunately the bug is still there 😞

Having this bug too on Mac (Ventura, Studio M1 Max). The icon updates to the current representation of the mask after a few more edits but it is never correct at the outset.
