Try to reset the Camera Raw prefrences.

If this doesn't help please give us more informations as @D Fosse and @Bojan Živković wrote.

I have the same problem. Deleting the Camera Raw preferences doesn't work for me.

I'm very new to Photoshop and have spent hours trying to solve this as I thought it was my inexperience in both macs & photoshop.

Hi, no there was not an error message.

when leaving Camera Raw and going back into Photoshop the Photoshop menu is not accesible, however the Tools Palette is accesibler. as are the Context Sensitive Toolbar, Image Preview and Extensions & Windows Docking.

In the system info I see that there is a Intel UHD GPU aktiv. This is the CPU internal GPU. Please try to deactivate this GPU and check.

Is your system up-to-date? Do you have installed ALL recent updates and patches for the operating system and the device drivers, especially the graphic driver.

J'utilise toujours CR pour créer mes images et jusqu'à ce jour je n'ai jamais eu de problème. CR ne fonctionne pas dans la v26 de Photoshop alors qu'il fonctionne dans la v22.58.

It appears the others have hijacked your thread with a different issue. Your problem (the "program error"-message) is a genuine bug with reports coming in from all over every day.

Hi apologies for hacking the original thread, I'll take more care to forum etiquette next time.

Thanks to D Fosse my problem was solved, I turned off the GRU and one other item mentioned in the guide link sent.
