Contextual Task bar in Photoshop 24.5 flashes like crazy (MacOS)

Contextual Task bar introduced in Photoshop 24.5 flashes like crazy in MacOS Ventura even when cursor idle, seems to happen consistently on larger images. Super annoying. I can send video of it happening for reference if required (don't have permissions to upload here).

Hi @philwareham curious if this will fix it:

Go to Preferences > Technology Previews... and check "Disable Native Canvas" - then restart Photoshop. Does the problem still occur?

Does it work correctly?

If that doesn't solve it, you can quit Photoshop and put the Settings folder back.

It may help if we could see your Photoshop System Info. Launch Photoshop, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.

@CoryShubert The workspace icon in the top right of screen also flickers at exactly same time as the contextual bar - not sure if that has any relevance or not. FYI I use a custom workspace, dual screens and don't use the application frame.

The stale prefs suggestion you mentioned I'll have to do this evening (UK time) as I have some urgent deadlines today and can't risk causing issues in PShop. I've just deactivated the bar for now. Will reply with findings in due course.

Same issue here. I am on Big Sur, I will paste my system info under this message, to see if there are parallels. But I think the most important observation is probably that the taskbar does not flash in the beta. At all.
