Hi @kevin stohlmeyer , In the 1st image there is the error, in the 2nd image I created a new file, and with another source, and it seems to have corrected it. however in the previous file even changing the font does not change the cursor.
Hi @LucasLaraa it appears there may be settings applied to the specific characters - can you select the "M" at the end and see if you have subscript or a different size applied?
As you can see my "1.5" is still 57.88 but since my "M" is smaller the cursor appears large.
Hi @LucasLaraa thank you for the video it was somewhat helpful. It did not capture what you did at this point but its clear whatever setting you changed to reduce the font size from this:
To this:
is the issue (but not really).
The cursor is still showing hte original size of the font you are using. When you applied the setting it reduced the text but not the actual font size so it still shows your original font size and the cursor is still the same.
If you were to undo, reselect the text and reduce the font size (and increase the leading/line spacing) it would show the related cursor size.
This really isnt a bug or an issue just an understanding that when you subscript or add an option/filter to your original font size, the cursor will still show the original font size.
I would click into the characters and do a select all and change the size. If you manually select you could miss a space or invisible character maintaining the larger font size.
