embedded video error - all black

I try to place an embedded video into an image, and the video is all black. It's a mp4 file and when I just play the video, it works perfectly. The video is only about 30 seconds long. 

I have no idea why this is happening.. It always worked fine and suddenly started to show a black screen 😞

Hi @Sumin295237624bvj could you share a screenshot of what you are seeing or a video of your workflow that shows the error?

Let's make sure we're in a default state and there are no stale settings somewhere: 

Restore your preferences using this manual method:  

https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html#Manually  

Does it work correctly? 

If that doesn't solve it, you can quit Photoshop and put the Settings folder back. 

It may help if we could see your Photoshop System Info. Launch Photoshop, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.

Hello @CoryShubert, so when I place an embedded video, it just shows a black screen even though it recognizes the right length of the video. It's still the same after the preferences reset.

Thank you for your sysinfo @Sumin295237624bvj have you tried updating to the latest version of Ps, 24.6, and does this solve the issue?  The onther thing we see:

Scratch volume(s): Startup, 465,6G, 21,8G free - it is suggested that you need at least 100gb of scratch disc space. Try to free up more and restart your computer, then Ps and see if this works.
