History panel options issue

The "Make Layer Visibility Changes Undoable" option in the History panel options no longer works in Photoshop 2024 and the in the current Beta.
So you can't do multiple undos without affecting the layer opacity values.

Seems to be working here with Photoshop 2024 (ps ver 25.11) on macOS Sonoma 14.6.1

 

Perhaps if you gave some steps to recreate the issue my outcome would be different.

I get it, it's a mistake in the Italian translation that confused me!
The Italian text says "Make Layer Visibility Changes NOT Undoable", so it works backwards.
