Layer being moved around behind blending mode layer disappears. Photoshop Latest Build....

I have a full page scene with a blending mode chosen.  Layer below (underneath) when moved around behind this upper layer becomes a gray block and doesn't return to it's original state before this move.
Back on previous PS builld. Works fine on the previous version (22 vs 23 latest 3/3/23 bug).

Can you capture screenshot with Layers panel expanded and visible both layers. Tells us which layer has blending mode and which you are moving and what is desired versus current outcome.

Sorry to hear you are having issues @Cannacular would it be possible to share a screen recording of your desktop and layers panel so we can see what might be happening?

It may help if we could see your Photoshop System Info. Launch Photoshop, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.
