Gracias.

When I enter liquify in the latest Photoshop (March 2024) the curser starts to move around the screen independently. I cannot gain control and it takes a lot of effort to exit the tool. Is this happening to anyone else?

Hey, @ivanf48073371. Welcome to the Photoshop Community. I'll need more info to help you figure this out. Please share a video of this behavior & the system info from Photoshop Help > System info > Copy & paste into a text document > upload & attach here.

Ensure you're working on Photoshop v25.5.1 & the latest version of macOS. Try these steps:

1 - Disconnect the input tablet & only keep the classic, good old mouse connected.

2 - Go to the location of the preference folder mentioned below and rename it to back up. (https://adobe.ly/3u7u84j)
macOS: Hold down the Option key in the Finder when using the Go menu. The library will appear below the current user's home directory.

Library > Preferences > Adobe Photoshop [version] Settings

Rename the Adobe Photoshop folder by adding a .old at the end. (Adobe Photoshop 2024 > Rename > Adobe Photoshop 2024.old)

3 - Launch the Liquify filter in Photoshop & check how it goes with & without the tablet.

Let me know if it helps. Thanks!

I'm just updated to Photoshop 2024 (25.5.1) running on my MacBook (macOS Sonoma 14.3).

When I'm trying to use Liquify filter, my mouse cursor freezes for a bit then jumping all over the screen.

I can't even close Photoshop at that point. Liquify filter is unusable for me now.
