Moving the photoshop screen on my desktop sends it to the back of other pages.

Used photshop for 30 years.  Now, when I click to drag the screen, any pages already up on my screen come forward.  Or, Photoshop disappears into a sea of other screens. Doesn't do this with Illustrator.  I've no idea how to address this.

Can you post a screenshot? Apple has various window management features, but windows have always been independent.

 

Check System Settings under Desktop and Dock for Stage Manager and Mission Control preferences.

Finally, Sonoma is currently at version 14.5. You can find updates under general in System Settings.
