my photoshop keeps crashing

my photoshop crashes while still in the loading screen or gets to the opening page and crashes immidealty. I did all my updates and uninstalled and reinstalled photoshop but it didn't help.

Which version of Photoshop and OS?
How much RAM and spare hard disk capacity do you have?

Have you tried resetting the Photoshop preferences back to the factory defaults? You can do that under the General tab in Photoshop preferences, then closing and reopening the application.

Alternatively, if you can't open Photoshop to access the Preferences, do this:

Close Photoshop, the restart it and quickly press and hold Shift+Ctrl+Alt (Win) / Shift+Command+Option (Mac) Just before Photoshop opens, a message will pop up asking if you want to delete the Adobe Photoshop Settings file. Choose Yes. Photoshop will then open with the default settings. If you don’t see the question repeat the exercise.

Be sure to send crash reports and include your Adobe ID, as Adobe staff reads these and can see the issue.

When Photoshop crashes, this is the first thing to do, try resetting your Photoshop preferences. Press and hold Alt+Control+Shift (Windows) or Option+Command+Shift (macOS) immediately after launching Photoshop. You will be prompted to delete the current settings. You can also reset preferences upon a quit if Photoshop is running by going into General Preferences>General>Reset on Quit.

(macOS only) Open the Preferences folder in the Library folder*, and drag the Adobe Photoshop CS Settings folder to the Trash.

This action only affects the items found in the preferences dialog box. Numerous program settings are stored in the Adobe Photoshop Preferences file, including general display options, file-saving options, performance options, cursor options, transparency options, type options, and options for plug‑ins and scratch disks. Brushes (and lots of other setting) are not affected by the above instructions for deleting preferences. You may wish to make a screen capture of the settings in the Preferences dialog to reset them prior to deleting of this file.

*To manually delete Photoshop preferences:
Quit Photoshop.
Navigate to Photoshop's Preferences folder:
macOS**: Users/[user name]/Library/Preferences/Adobe Photoshop [version] Settings
Windows 10: Users/[user name]/AppData/Roaming/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop [version]/Adobe Photoshop [version] Settings
**Note:The user Library folder is hidden by default on macOS. In the Finder, hold down the Option key when using the Go menu. The library will appear below the current user's home directory.
Now you can drag the entire Adobe Photoshop [Version] Settings folder to the desktop or somewhere safe for a backup of your settings

If that doesn't fix the issue:
Go to Preferences > Performance... and uncheck Multithreaded Compositing - and restart Photoshop.
Still crashing? 
Go to Preferences > Performance... click Advanced Settings... and uncheck "GPU Compositing" - then restart Photoshop. Still crashing?

I'm not seeing any submitted crash reports from you in our system. If you haven't done so already, please submit all Crash Reports along with your email address: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/submit-crash-reports.html That will help us diagnose the crash. 

It may help if we could see your Photoshop System Info. Launch Photoshop, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.

One or more corrupt fonts can cause general performance issues, including crashes or hangs when launching or using Photoshop. The Photoshop font cache contains the enumerated list of fonts and font features that are installed on the system and can be used by Photoshop. If you delete this font cache file, Photoshop can create a new one.

Same issue with me. Same thing in Camera Raw v16. What's happening is Adobe has now made everything incompatible with my graphics card. Direct X must be 12.0 mine is 11.1 and can't be updated further. I'm about done with Photoshop at this point. No future updates will be compatible with my PC and the error messages accuse me of having an "out of date card" -- incredible arrogance.

Navigate to c:/program files/Adobe/Photoshop 2024/Required/Plug-ins/Filters and add a ‘~’ to the front of both the MaterialsFilter and MaterialsSuite plugin names in the folder. Then check to see if the app launches without crashing

This solution has me back in business  -I can now use the latest PS V25.1. I was stressing.... Still on Camera RAW V14 though. Maybe I should try installing V16 again, but not sure if it will work.
