P: (#202502120032) Photoshop Generative Fill and Generative Expand not working

Hello, 

 

I'm on MacOS 15.1.1 (24B91) using Version 26.3.0

 

As soon as I try generating anything on photoshop (Generative Fill / Generative Expand) I have this message, basically saying "To access Firefly's fonctionnalities in Adobe softwares, you need to have authentic Adobe apps" but I actually have a Uni license so I guess its authentic. 

 

Anyone in the same situation ? Any ideas of how to solve this ? 

 

I've already tried to uninstall / re install creative cloud as well as Photoshop.

Hi All! A few hours ago, we had an outage with GenAi tools in Photoshop. The issue is partly resolved on the services side. 

Our team is working on a fix for people with subscriptions through Universities/Institutes. For now, Photoshop Web and Firefly on Web work.

Yeah, the generative fill in PS isn’t working again. I don’t get what they keep doing with it, but it’s already crashed twice this month. It’s getting ridiculous.

Yep. Not working for me too.. Was working fine half an hour back and now it stopped working with the same error message as last week.. What's going on PS developers? Not paid well by Adobe?

I had the same issue, fixed it by returning to PS version 25.12.1. You can see the screenshots below to downgrade version.

Chill guys, yes, its not working but its not working on version 26, version 25 is currently ok and gen fill works fine, always keep the previous version just in case.

Generative AI in Photoshop still doesnt work. Generating a new image works, but selecting an area and use generative AI gives me an error every time. This is after Adobe claim it's been resolved. I'm on the latest version of Photoshop v. 26.3. On windows 11.

Hi everyone,


Like many others, it seems, we're unable to access Generative Fill in Photoshop within our organisation.

I've seen others reporting similar problems, leading me to believe this might be an issue on Adobe's end, rather than a local IT problem. Has anyone else experienced this or heard of a fix from Adobe?

after running this command started working normally, open cmd as adminstrator and run this, change the photoshop version with yours


set AI_ENABLE_LOGS=1 && "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 2025\Photoshop.exe"
