This issue should be fixed in the 20.0.1 update. Please let us know if you're still having trouble.

Likewise on Win 10 and someone reported same on on macOS Mojave.
Tried on different machine also running Win 10 with same issue.

Previous state has acute alzeimers.... really short memory.
Make sure you are not doing anything else between adjustment and preview else the state is erased.
Even clicking on the adjusted layer and going back to the adjustment layer will erase the state.
Havent upgraded yet, just wanted to be sure you are aware of the above.

The Eye with the return arrow dose not work at all in CC 2019.  When changes are made in adjustment layers the icon when not grayed out (to indicated there was a change) dose not work. RackMultipart20181029100662bhe-76a0737c-b95d-4495-8c2c-1abccfe644be-1102779643.png .  I have this issue across multiple machines running Mac OS 10.12.6
