P: Brush tool opacity also changes brush HUD preview opacity

In CS6 the feather preview gets almost invisible when working with low opacity. Is there any way getting the preview showed in 100% opacity even tough I have it on, say 4%? Like it used to be in previous versions.

Could you give a little more detail?

The Feather command doesn't have a preview, so I can't figure out what you're referring to.

Maybe the feather isn't the real problem, rather the opacity preview.

When I change the brush size or the softness of the edges on my brush using Ctrl+option key It's almost impossible to se what I'm doing when working in low opacity. In previous version the brush preview was solid red even if I had a low opacity.

Do you understand what I mean?

Wat I mean is that I don't want to see how low the opacity is when changing my brush size. I want it to be solid red even when working in low opacity.

Ok, that finally defines what you're talking about: the brush hardness/size preview when using HUD brush resizing. And you don't want the brush tool opacity to change the preview opacity.
