P: Crashes When Printing

Photoshop 21.0.2 began crashing near the end of my workday today and I found this video here https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html#restore_preferences and it said you would like to get the zipped copy of my corrupt Photoshop preferences file to take a look at.

I've moved Adobe Photoshop 2020 Prefs.psp to my desktop and next time I opened Photoshop it printed fine, so I'll reset my preferences by hand. Attached is my zipped corrupted preferences file. I don't see a way to attach a file here so I've uploaded it here http://mediaservices1.com/george/AdobePhotoshop2020Prefs.zip

I'll delete the file later.

- Best Wishes,
George Conklin

Did it freeze (stuck on spinning beach ball) or crash down and completely disappear for you?

Hi Jeffrey, it completely crashed immediately. It did so about 3-5 times before I hit Google, found a resolution, then removed my preference file to restore default preferences.

Hello again, here's another corrupt preferences file http://mediaservices1.com/george/AdobePhotoshop2020Prefs2020-02-06.zip

I was going to say I make minimal changes to preferences, but when I opened preferences and checked around I don't really see anything to change, although I might add a Scratch Disk now that I've looked again.

Any insight as to what's going on would be appreciated.

Okay, thanks Jeffrey. If I can provide any more info just let me know. I see I'm not getting email notifications about replies here yet, but I just verified my email address. I don't check that email address often but I'll try to keep an eye out for any follow ups here.

Hi Jeffrey, I don't know the turnaround time on looking at these corrupted preferences files but wondered if you found anything in the 2 I sent? I haven't had any issues since - oh and it probably bears mentioning that I don't think I've ever had to reset preferences previously, if memory serves.
