P: CS5 - Group Properties Channels lost when switching to or from 16-bit mode

The Channel visibility settings in the Blending Options for Layers and the Group Properties for Groups seem to get lost when changing an image from 8bit to 16bit an vice versa. (Photoshop 12.0.4 on Mac OS10.6.8)
