P: Discover panel does not work, photoshop v26.11

Community Beginner ,
Sep 29, 2025 Sep 29, 2025

Dear sir, with the last update in Photoshop, the Discover panel is not working. When i press Ctrl+F or click in the magnifier, a windows shows up with a message telling thar Discover panel doesn't work and need to be reloaded. But if i clik in reload button, it does nothing and the Discover panel continues without working.

I have tried all solutions i ever found in internet as reset preferences, Update graphic card drivers and reinstall photoshop. I am sure thar teh pluggins are not the problem because i haven't installed or updated any plugging in the months, and other photoshop versions worked without any problem.

Could you help me to solve this issue, please?

Thanks

Hi @Leon_Kingdom, welcome to the community!
I gave it a try on my end, and the Discover panel seems to be working normally. Could you share a screenshot of what you're seeing on your side? Also, if you're using any third-party plugins, it’s a good idea to make sure they’re up to date, sometimes outdated plugins can cause unexpected issues in Photoshop.
Thanks a lot!
Alek

Hi @Aleke i´m sure that all the third party plugins are up to date, but i have uninstalled all of them to check it. This is what appears when i press Ctrl+F:

Photoshop was working properly before the last update. I have tried the Beta version and it has the same problem with the Discover Panel. The PC has updated the graphic card drivers (AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT). Could it be this update?. In may laptop, with an Nvidia Graphics card Photoshop works properly with the same plugins installed.

@Aleke  there's a thread from 2022 with a post from @BrettN that suggests deleting a specific settings file, but I just checked my Windoiws 11 for that path, and found no settings at that location.

Since the last update to v26.11, the discover panel dones not work. I have discard the plugins, i uninstalled all and the panel does not work, y tried to reinstall Photoshop but it wasn't the solution. I updated all PC drivers, but it remains the same, the discover panel doesn't work.

In my laptop i have the same version with the same config (add-ons, plugins...) and everything works properly. The only diference is the graphic card, Laptop has an nVidia and my PC has an AMD Radeon RX. Maybe the problem could be related to the graphic card, i don't know.

I opened a technical live chat with Adobe Support, and they installed v25.12 version and works properly, then the problem should be related to the last photoshop update. I have to add that the discover panel does not work in the Beta version (v27) too.

Hi @josantgomez, thanks for reaching out!
I’ve merged your post with another user who’s describing the same issue, hopefully we can get to the bottom of it together.
Could you share a few more details, like which version of Photoshop and what operating system you're using? That’ll help us investigate further.
Thanks so much!
Alek

Hey, @Robertovd. Welcome to the Photoshop Community. I reviewed the account you used to log in and found two profiles, one with an active subscription.

There are a few layers to this:

If an IT team manages the device, ensure all the Adobe Network endpoints are whitelisted: https://adobe.ly/3STmkga

You can also try using Photoshop Web (https://adobe.ly/3WkhVFm) on a different/alternate device & internet network to rule out if it's a network issue.

For @Rubn_V8260. Welcome to the Photoshop Community. I'll help you figure this out. Please share the system info from Photoshop Help > System info > Copy and paste into a text document > Upload and attach here.

Try launching Photoshop only from the Creative Cloud desktop app and check if it helps.

Thanks!

Como públiqué hace algún tiempo, Descubrir no se carga. No es la mejor ayuda, pero, a veces se vuelve imprescindible. Por favor tómense este asunto seriamente. No veo ningún plugin conectado a Photoshop. Por otra parte, como usuario, sé lo que tengo que saber y no más. Pero estoy perdiendo la paciencia.

Hi @josantgomez, thanks for reaching out!
Could you share a few more details about the issue? What version of Photoshop are you currently using? If you haven’t already, try updating to version 27 and see if the issue still occurs there.

Also, have you had a chance to try any of the suggested troubleshooting steps? These can help narrow things down:

Resetting Photoshop preferences: https://adobe.ly/4nuSefa

Trying Photoshop Web on a different device or network to rule out any connection issues: https://adobe.ly/3WkhVFm

Let me know how it goes!
Alek
