P: Duplicating layers doesn't retain the layer's color in the layers panel

The layer color reverts to grey instead of duplicating it with the rest of the layer's properties.

Hi Glenn, I'm not able to reproduce this issue. What version of Photoshop are you using? What OS/version are you running on?

2015.0.1 in Win7. It happens if I just create a document, right click Layer 1, select "red", then hit ^J. Layer 2 is back to grey in the layer panel instead of staying red.

Got it. Oddly it doesn't happen with 2 or more layers. Only the single layer case.
