I have recently installed Photoshop 2022 (v23), and I was surprised when I opened my PSD files that were using the gradiant map layer style in the layer stack..
They look different 😞
Indeed, Adobe introduced the Perceptual, Linear and Classic methods. This looks great at a first glance, but the default is 'Perceptual', and 'Classic' is not applied when you open a PSD that contains gradiant map layer styles.
This sound as a bug, because PSD files should retaint the corrections intent of the retoucher.
Please, add the capability to set the default behaviour for thr Gradiant Map Layesr Style in the preference.

According to my tests, Adobe fixed all my points 1. Previous 23.0 PSD with Gradient Map Layers are in 'Classic' mode. 2. Actions recorded before Photoshop 23 are executed in 'Classic' mode.3. New Actions are recorded with the method you choose. Good job
