P: Handles on Crop Tool too thick/fat

Hi folks, can anyone advise how to change (what I think are) the annoying thick/fat handles and corners on the crop tool post the 2020 update ? I've posted a picture below of what I mean.

Is it possible to alter their size, thickness, opacity etc or even go back to the style in Photoshop CC 2019 ?

RackMultipart201911131022451hc-09735c45-8938-4f94-97bc-cafe56447045-1757014905.JPGRackMultipart201911131022451hc-09735c45-8938-4f94-97bc-cafe56447045-1757014905.JPG

The problem I find now is that you can't judge the crop properly for fine (small) crops less than the thickness of the handles or where you reference point is under the corner or side handles.

Many thanks in advance

With the Crop Tool enabled, select the gear widget in the Options Bar and then enable 'Use Classic Mode'.

Hi Adam, many thanks for such a speedy reply and apologies for asking what was probably such a basic/dumb question.

Hi Adam, can I ask what is considered in the current Classic Mode? Just that the crop tool has changed over the years, so how far back is Classic? What does Classic not give you? Or, to put it another way, when Classic is NOT enabled, you have "Show Cropped Area" and "Auto Center Preview"(which unselected, is back to the dark ages) as options but what other features are selected and excluded for you when Classic is checked? I'm just thinking it's an extreme step to have smaller handles.

Hi Jerry, I prefer Classic as you can still see the cropped area (albeit slightly opaque), plus the smaller handles allow you to see more of what you are potentially cropping. Sorry but the new handles are simply too big and clumsy.

Regards

Stuart

Stuart, the classic mode is one that rotates the crop boundaries, the non classic one rotates the image behind the fixed crop boundaries.

Unfortunately, the crops are now even worse:
