PS CC 2015.5 Issues with rendering engine - When creating a video from individual mov files the progress bar stops and an output file is created but the last part of it is black and PS continues to display the progress bar and consume some CPU cycles but I have to end PS by shutting down the process.

This issue should be fixed by the Photoshop CC 2018 (19.1) update that was released today.

I am running Windows 10 Pro, i7-5820K 32 GB RAM. As a test I performed the export correctly with PS CC2015.0 using the exact same psd file and media source files.

How big are the files? Would be possible to get the assets to reproduce the issue?

About 8GB. I can put the assets in a dropbox folder. Send me a private email address  and I will send a link.

When you say same issue, is rendering video failing for you? Is it stopping at 50%?

It stops before 50%. Tryed it on a different video. Works if you don't do anything to this video. As soon as you apply a filter it is not finishing to render the video and you get a message.
