It seems Groups’ Fill can not be set with the shortcuts that apply to regular Layers – namely shift-number.
I work on Mac OS 10.6.8

Howdy Christoph,

I'm sorry, I don't really understand your issue. Could you share more context or information? Fill is found under Edit > Fill and it's shortcut on both platforms is SHIFT+F5. Clearly, you're referring to something else.

Thanks,
David

Thanks.

I mean the »Fill« as paired with »Opacity« in the Layers Panel.
So far Fill had no significance to Groups as Styles could not be applied to them, but with CS6 that has changed, so I’d like to be able to set it analogously to regular Layers.

Edit: I should have posted a screenshot right away ...

With regular Layers and the Move Tool selected I am accustomed to using Keyboard Shortcuts to change Opacity and Fill (numbers for Opacity and shift-numbers for Flow/Fill) – the same ones that change the Opacity and Flow for the painting Tools .

Hi Christoph,

I see it. Looks like it just wasn't implemented correctly when it was added to groups in CS6. I've asked the team to look into it. Thanks!

Same thing in CC:
5 will make a layer's opacity 50%
Shift + 5 will make a layer's fill 50%.
-but-
5 will make a layer's opacity 50%
Shift + 5 will ALSO make a layer group's opacity 50%

Please fix.

Hello. I was wondering why I couldn't find the kbsc for the fill opacity... just to discover there was this remaining bug of shift+number missing for groups...

I'm sure it could be fit in the JDI features...
