P: Liquify crashes Photoshop v.24.1 with December nVidia drivers

In latest update 24.1 and previous update of Photoshop, whenever I open Liquify photoshop crashes after I hit ok, even if I don't make any liquify changes. 
I'm on Windows 11, with a 3970X 32 core CPU, RTX 3090 with the latest Studio Driver and 128gb of ram.

Hi @Kapture benoit sorry to hear you are seeing this issue.

It has been posted that rolling back to a previous NVidia driver could fix this issue.

- Problematic drivers: 528.02 (release 1st of Jan 2023).

- Working drivers: 527.56 (release 8th of Dec 2022).

Hi at all, thank you for all these tipps. I check "Deactivate native canvas" in the menu edit/preferences/..., restart PS and...  I'm happy... now the liquid filter function. Thank you. I hope that the next update for PS fixes this bug.

Still unresolved in the latest photoshop update

The maximum that can be updated is 526.98 for now, which is a stable driver selection.
After that, NVIDIA drivers (studios) are not recommended because abnormal clock changes and heat generation issues occur, except for issues in Adobe products. Many communities have already reported it.

NVIDI just release a new driver update 528.24 that fix the strange behavior of Liquify, so the newer update fix instability with photoshhop 24.1

Checking "Deactivate Native Canvas" worked for me. I reverted back to 526.98 and so far no problems. I'll wait a while to update though. My new build had been crashing every so often and I believe I've traced it down to the recent video drivers! This is such nonsense that Nvidia would not thoroughly check out their software before releasing it.

Hi hectorgomez1968,

The latest nvidia driver update should fix this issue.  Please do a clean install of the driver.  If the issue is resolved, go back into Preferences and UNCHECK the Deactivate Native Canvas checkbox and restart Photoshop. Thank you.
