I am having issues with the new upgrade to Photoshop CC 2015 on Mac El Captain. The only thing I did was upgrade from a working CC 2015 to the new version. Using the liquify tool give the following look. There is a box around the area liquified that is lighter than the other areas. When I turn of Use Acceleration in Graphics Processor, it is better but .... I didn't have to do this in the prior version i.e.. Yesterday.

New Update: The Squiggly waist is the liquified:

I encountered the same issues using Liquify. This is the easiest solution I found which avoids crashing and is pretty efficient.

Use Liquify on a 16 bit file as normal. Click the "OK" button to leave the liquify window. You will now see your file with the lighted boxes (TheProblem). In your history panel click back by one step. Now hold down "ALT KEY" continously while selecting Liquify from the filter menu with your mouse. When the window opens click the click the "LOAD LAST MESH" button and click "OK". You now have applied your Liquify work with no light boxes. It's only a few extra mouse clicks and I just finished 20 files using this method and it was a pretty smooth work around and it avoided the crashes of trying to use the liquify tool without GPU acceleration. Hope it helps someone. Have an awesome day!

Every time I make an adjustment to my painting using Liquify within Photoshop CC, a bright yellow square appears on the spot where I made the adjustment. I've never had this problem until the recent update.

You have to be joking. It took two weeks to fix something that worked until 15 days ago.

The cursor still disappears when saving and loading liquify meshes. What's
up with that? Are you sure you're working on that?

Am I really the only professional who uses liquify meshes?

It's a driver/OS issue... Not something that can be fixed in PS.

This is a great conversation that's separate from the main one, so I created a new conversation to continue the discussion.

The update is not listed in the CC application.
I went through steps 1-4 on this page with all the fuss included with no result:
https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-clou...

Do I really have to go with step 5? I don't want to have to set up everything again...

Come on Adobe, get your issues sorted out and don't bother your paying customers with it!

Hi, it's not only with 16 bit that something goes wrong.
Also in 8 bit strange things happen to.
When I liquify a transparant image I get an border around the image.
Once I'm done and press enter the line will be bright and visible and in some cases really big.
