On Mac OS 10.6, if I mouse over a window that is focused or not focused, I can scroll that window using my scroll wheel. This doesn't work in PS. I have to focus the window to scroll it. I want it to work the way the system does it.

Hmm. This seems to work for me on 10.6.7 with Photoshop 12.0.2. Maybe I'm missing something....

No inactive windows in PS will scroll for me. This is broken when in another app and mousing-over+scrolling on PS and also while in a PS document and m-o+s an inactive document.
For clarity, I do not use the application frame, as it is an abomination.

It is also working just fine for me in OS X.

Though, I'd normally expect that if Photoshop isn't the active application, documents wouldn''t be scrolling.

A feature of Mac OS X is that you can move your mouse over any window (active or not) and scroll the wheel (or ball or magic mouse) and that window will scroll.

This doesn't work for me.

Hi Julian,

Can you provide a screenshot of what you are seeing? Here's Photoshop as a non-focused app and I'm able to scroll non-focused windows (Safari has the focus):

I don't have a reliable screen capture tool but here is more information:

Having multiple docs in PS is where the problem lies. With Safari active I can scroll the last active window from PS but not a window that was not the last one active.

I will keep trying to get a screen cap.

Ahh. That description makes sense to me. Now I'm understanding what you're seeing. I'll look into it.
