Since updating yesterday Photoshop no longer quits - just the spinning rainbow wheel of doom!

Have to force quit every time.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Thanks

Hi Its happening to me after upgrading to Big Sur so must be something to do with that as it was fine before. I have no third party plug-ins, lots of RAM and just bridge running as well. Photoshop is always open all day for me as I am a Photoshop professional so unless it crashed it's open. Also had a weird thing where my curves adjustments were turning my images grey when I pulled the curves around a bit got sorted on a reset though.

I have the same problem. Start with lightroom cc. Edit in photoshop. Could not complete request because of a program error. cant close photoshop either. Have reinstalled both Lightroom cc and Photoshop, still the same problem.

I have since updated on Creative Cloud and have no problems now, that seems to have solved it.

It most certainly is not fixed, @J453. This has been happening to me for at least 3 years. Bridge and Photoshop both have to force quit. I've just updated both to the latest versions, same problem.
