P: Paste in Place doesn't work correctly when copy and pasting Frames

I've just discovered that the fix doesn't apply to Frames. Copy a framed image from one document and paste-in-place into another and the offset is wildly wrong.

That's with selecting the frame to copy. Selecting the image rather than the frame and then pasting into a new document does paste the image with correct offsets, but of course it's no longer framed.

Photoshop 21.1.1, MacOS 10.13.6

This issue should be fixed in the 21.2 update that went out this AM. Let us know if you're still having trouble.

Thanks Jeffrey, I appreciate you letting me know. I’ll test it once I’ve updated, but I won’t risk updating until I’m done with this week’s work, so probably not until after the weekend.

Yes, like Jonathan Ellis says, this isn’t quite solved.

Pasting frames behaves differently whether targeting the same document or a new document of the same dimensions.

When targeting the same document, the plain Paste command does paste retaining the original offsets, but Paste-in-place pastes with an offset, the opposite of the usual behaviour.

On the other hand, pasting into a second document has the usual behaviour: plain Paste pastes into the centre of the page and Paste in place pastes with the same offsets as the original object.
