After updating to Photoshop 2021 there is a huge lag when I use any filter or image adjustment.

Animated zoom is no longer working.

Seems like a performance issue with in Photoshop.

I will be uninstalling the 2021 update and rolling back.

Next time instead of gimmicky filter updates how about just a stable update.

Ever other update has done nothing but cause problems and slow down my work!

It's very ridiculous that Creative Professional users have to prove EVERY "Molecule" before Adobe decides to take action or even ACKNOWLEDGE fault of any kind.

Then Creative Professionals have to throw more "time" down the drain waiting for Adobe to actually fix what they broke.

Not sure if this is relating to the filter part or the image adjustments part but the curves adjustment layer handle lag is still very apparent.

The difference between 21.0.3 and anything after is night and day on any reasonably large, heavily layered file.

@Nikunj_Muglani Unfortunately, 22.4 introduced scrubby zoom lag, which is even more disrupting for someone who needs to work fast.

Same problem here. Still present in PS 22.4

Hello,

I'm 35, have been using Photoshop since version 5.0 in 1998. Using the software on an everyday basis as a working tool for my company.

I had a computer with i7 2.60 Ghz •32GB Ram •Nvidia Quadro K2200M •Win7Pro64 and here is how Curved were handled in PS 2015.5.2

<iframe src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/xYSd4Fr_gUQ" style="max-width: 100%; max-height: 100%;" width="640px"></iframe>
Now I have a computer with AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12 Core 3.70 Ghz • 64GB Ram•Nvidia RTX 3700•Win10Pro64 and here is how "Curves" are handled by (crappy) PS CC 2021 (22.3.1)
<iframe src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/B1u8r-F7GX4" style="max-width: 100%; max-height: 100%;" width="640px"></iframe>

Needless to say that I know how to set the preferences in PS about usage of RAM, history, Open CL etc etc. Everything is well set.

Do you have some explanation or, even better, a solution Adobe ?? Every sliding-based tool is handling the same way. Of course my Win10 installation is all new and fresh and up-to-date with latest drivers.
