P: Perspective Warp plus Guides = Program Error

Hi,

I'm experiencing this issue within Photoshop CC 2018/2019:

1/ I create guides around smart object.

2/ When setting up Perspective Warp grid, I position perspective grid corners at the smart object corners with the help of snap to guides.

The result is Program Error and even the Perspective Warp hes been applied, I cannot do anything and even cannot save the file because of program error message. I have to delete smart object to be able to save the file and continue to work.

 

I got this issue on Windows and OS Mojave.

The latest 20.0.7 update did not solve this.

This issue should be fixed in the 21.0.1 update that went out on Monday.

Version 21.2.0 windows has this problem. Very frustrating. Not getting what I pay for is galling and it adds time to the projects as I do architectural photography and everything needs  some perspective correction.

Hi John, I'm not able to reproduce on Windows 10 given the steps from the OP. Perspective Warp works fine for me here with no program error. Can you provide different steps to reproduce what you're seeing?

What exactly are you doing and seeing? General program errors? or specific to snapping perspective warp to guides?
