P: Photoshop 22:0: Text selecting/editing UI not displaying in CMYK, LAB modes

When I select the text or try to edit some text in a CMYK file it doesn't show anything showing whether or not I selected that text.

I can edit normally, but without this information it gets a little complicated to know what I'm selecting or not

This issue is back for me in version 23 on windows 10. When I create a text box by dragging, the text inside as well as the bounding box is invisible. I can see it in the layers panel but not in the document. Clicking and typing works fine. The problem only occurs when creating a text box.

Go to Preferences > Technology Previews... and check "Disable Native Canvas" - then restart Photoshop. Does the problem still occur?
