All the actions work fine when even if i select and click play on all of them at once, picture by picture but when i try to use a batch jobs with the retouches it crashes.

It's been happening since the december update.

Thank you,

Hello everyone!

I'm the author of Retouch4me plug-ins. Though we have some problems with memory leaks that are already fixed in upcoming plug-in releases, most of the crashes that we investigated were caused by the use of pirated version of Retouch4me plug-ins (even side by side or before using legit ones). Another (but less common) source of the problems are old GPUs that have 2GB RAM or less. Besides of those reason, I'm sure that plug-ins can run well on all modern computers. If someone still

This issue is caused by the Retouch4Me plug-ins and a fix will need to come from their side. We've reached out to their developers.

I dont use any other batch actions other than retouch4me.

Tried rolling back to a previous version of photoshop and now they all present the same error even tough it worked in the past.

It's a funny ping pong. You are saying that it's because of plugin, the guys from Retouch4Me say it's from photoshop as they tested it fine with this version and it works fine.

I guess i will wait for an update for photoshop / filters and then try again.

Thank you

Sorry @vladcrihan we are not saying it is the plugin or not, we are simply trying to dial down why you are seeing this error and others are not.

Thank you,

Cory

Hi, I am also experiencing the same issue as @vladcrihan. The problem originated when I was using the Retouch4Me portrait volumes plugin on Photoshop v24.1.1 and selected the option for soft-masking. Since then, every other Retouch4Me plugin crashes when loaded. Additionally, the standalone Retouch4Me apps started to crash right after loading an image. I hope that the issue can be resolved soon. By using the `perfmon /rel` panel, I was able to find out that what is causing the crash is the `ailayerscl.dll` file.

Just trying the standalone demo of this. Not even in Photoshop. It crashes as soon as you load a pic.

I use intel F processor so they got this thing in https://retouch4.me/support about "I get OpenCL error" and it's not relevant for me.

I think it's just a buggy software. Too bad my friend says I should try it.

Hello @CShubert !

Just as a small update. Reinstalled windows on my device and after reinstall everything seems to be working just fine.

I just did a batch job with about 2k photos and it went fine with no crash.

Good to know about it. I'm also considering to re-install windows today. After an entire weekend reading many crash logs, I've discovered that it's also related to ntdll.dll, which is a Windows DLL file. Even performing the commands `sfc /scannow` and `dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth` multiple times along with other strategies to completely reinstall the related pieces of software.

My i5 10th Gen,with RTX 3050 laptop is doing just fine..

However its my Ryzen 5 5600x,GTX 1650 OC that is doing the crashing thing... I even updated the graphics driver, everything is latest as far as graphic drivers are concerned in both machines.... I guess either its graphics fault or with the processor build.IDK

Late Reply, but this is so everyone in the future has a solution.

Head to RegEdit
Click on "HKEY_CURRENT_USER"
Scroll down to "SOFTWARE"
Find "AIlayers"
Delete that folder
Restart PC

Thats what fixed it for me. hopefully does the same for you
