now I get that message for the purchases of Adobe Photoshop CS 6 Extended. I have already purchased this license since last year. At the previous update is missed. Thought it would be resolved with the update of 13.0.3, apparently not.

I bought Photoshop CS6 Extended and installed it with the serial number. Now "every time" I open the application, it tells that my trial period is over and I need to license the software by entering the serial Number all over again. Any solution? Tried customer service many time, but no solution.

Will the fix be communicated to those who have been affected or simply updated when PS6 loads once the fix has been resolved?

I'll post a communication to this thread. It will also show up as an update when you launch the application.

This problem has been going on for at lest 8 weeks now. I've had the problem, and thought it was all fixed. However, today, I had to re-register 2 more times!

I hope the Easter Holiday will not interfere with Adobe eventually being able to fix this problem.
We already heard that the Christmas and New Year'sHolidays caused a delay.

The problem started with the 13.0.2 release in early December, just over 4 weeks ago.

And about 3 of those weeks were not too productive because of various people traveling for the holidays (not to mention the lovely flu making it's way across the US).

Then you have a problem completely unrelated to this topic and should pursue it in your original topic and not this one.

All of a sudden Photoshop tells me that the period I've used the trial version has expired and I now must either buy the programme or fill in my license number. All this would be no problem unless you could download a trial version of Photoshop that is not the extended version. I've bought the non-extended version but filling in my license number for that version does not help me. I can not open my own, bought and paid for Photoshop. And I can't continue working at the moment. It's a bloody nuisance and Adobe must fix this bug immediately.

Sorry to say this but I've done the update exactly as described and confirmed that it's done too. And guess what... the problem has not gone away!

Second thoughts... Perhaps I need to re-enter the serial number. In this case I'll dig it out and try it later. Fingers crossed eh.

Just to let you all know that I have version 13.0.4 up and running! Thanks to all the team of advocate supporters. I feel sooo relieved!

I trust we can ignore the 13.0.1 and 13.0.3 updates? If so, they will be thrashed from my computer!

Well done Adobe!

While this was extremely frustrating, I totally understand the priority: there was a work-around in place and resourcing was tight. Now, if you could only work the same magic on the Soft Proof Gamut Warning failure.... 😉

...just installed 13.0.4. It works. With three days to go before our CS6 locked us out, the Licensing Team saved the day! Thank you. What we would not like to see in future product updates is a scheme to purchase additional software. As professionals in the graphics industry, we all know where and how to acquire the Adobe software solutions needed. Please, just the update and only the update. Thank you.

There was no "scheme to purchase additional software" - just a bug that that caused licensing to fail.

I downloaded the trial version of Photoshop CS6. After urchasing the software & installing it, I get a notice on my computer that my trial has ended & if I would like to purchase the software. Why am I still getting this notice & have to re-enter my serial number? This has happened more than 15 different occasions.

Try this, it seems to have worked for me:
- See Jeffrey Tranberry's postings (Very helpful, thanks Jeffrey)
- Open CS6 (I have CS6 Entended on MacBook Pro).
- Enter your serial number as directed in the "Trial Has Ended box"
- Go the Help on the CS6 top menue bar.
- Click on check for updates. There should be an update 13.04.
- Instal update.
- Sign out of CS6.
- Reopen CS6. You may get the same "Trial Has Ended box". Not to worry.
- Once again enter your serial number as above.
- After this, the "Trial Has Ended" box should be gone.

What are you people trying to do to me? Instead of allowing me to open my licensed version of Photoshop 6, I keep getting a trial of Photoshop Extended.
I never wanted that. Please let me go back to the ol' Photoshop!!
My e-mail has changed, but of course you don't make that easy to change, either.
It's pandsbucci@optonline.net. Please fix these problems. No more promotional stuff!!!
