P: Problem/crash with overlays

Greetings!
Is this the right way to report a bug?

I have a group of overlay textures - all in blend mode Screen - and put a color/saturation layer over the group, then clip it to the group.
When I change the saturation then, my Photoshop causes problems.
The overlays change their opacity, irreversible. Zoom into image doesn't work anymore.
When I delete the color/saturation layer now, all layers lose their thumbnail.
But the image still looks broken.
Only restarting Photoshop helps for me.

But how do I change color/saturation values of my overlay group now?
I guess it's some kind of a bug.
Can anyone recreate this behavior?

With best regards

This issue should be fixed in the 21.0.2 update that was released yesterday.

Hello, I cannot repro here, can you post a screenshot of your layers panel?
Are the individual layers in screen mode, or the group?
Are you on a PC? a Mac?
Did you try with legacy compositing in preferences>performance?

Hi MaLu,
This is the right place to report a bug.  I'm sorry if your image looks broken.  Can you email me (sender@adobe.com) a PSD of the scenario you're describing?  I can look into this once I get the PSD.

Sincerely,
Andrew

Hello!

Thank you very much for the reply.
I'm using Windows 10 and the individual layers are in Screen mode, didn't change the group blend mode. Legacy compositing is unchecked.
I've tried it with Photoshop 2019 version now, it works fine there!

Andrew if you still want to look into it, I'll gladly send you the PSD - E-Mail incoming.

Thank you so much!
With best regards
