P: "New Layer" and "New Group" buttons in the Layers panel stay down after clicking on it

Hello,

since the last update, almost every time I click on the New Layer and/or New Group buttons in the Layers panel, the buttons become stuck and unusable. I have to restart Photoshop to reset their state.
Not game breaking but definitely annoying.

My layer mask keeps getting stuck in the "depressed" position, have already uninstalled and reinstalled PS, any suggestions?

Howdy Kristie,

This bug should be fixed in the current GM version.  Are you running the latest version of PS (21.1.3) or 21.1?  Do you have GPU on or off under Preferences?

Is there a fix to this?  I updated to the new PS and have this issue every time I open PS.  On my old version, it would only occur once or twice a month. Now, it is every time.  EXTREMELY frustrating.

Which issue? The Layer panel buttons not working?

Can you post the first few lines from Help > System Info... from Photoshop?
