P: "Program Error" - Editing text layer - PS CC 2014

Received an error popup - "Could not complete your request because of a program error."

Scenario - Editing contents of a Smart Object. Duplicated text layer. Tried to edit text layer with Type Tool and error appeared.

I closed the Smart Object and reopened it and everything worked fine again.

Same problem on any text layer, but only if .psd was created in older PS version. OS X 10.9.4.

Fixed in Photoshop CC (2014.2) or later.
