P: Remove Tool Not Working Update 24.6

I just updated Photoshop and the Remove Tool is not working and it has a black smudge whereever I paint the effect, hope if it's a bug then it gets fixed soon...thanks and if you have any solution then please help

Same problem, my CPU is Ryzen 5 3600x, it's working after installing version 24.5.

Remove tool doesn't work for me either, gives the error "Could not complete the request because of a program error".  Windows 10 22H2 build 19045.3208 here.  I've tried the "more stable" settings, disabling GPU, updating video drivers, uninstalling/reinstalling.  The feature has never worked for me.  My system passes the GPU compatibility test.  I really hope someone at Adobe is working on this.

I just addressed a specialist , so following an hour of controller , checking with gpu drivers , different form various things , they are at last able to stop a report . I don't know whether their designing group even consideration as of now yet I connected them this string .

form beta 24.5 got eliminate device working , eliminate 24.4 and 24.6 no ( including the freshest 24.7 ) , the primary application doesn't fill in too

Yes, everyone that gets the error message about the Remove Tool not working seems to be on a Ryzen 3000 CPU (me included). Unfortunately, I don't think this will get resolved.

The Remove Tool is working perfectly for Ryzen 3000 CPUs on Beta 24.5, so as NellPSmage very rightly said, the dev team has changed something in the next versions, which for some reasons isn't compatible with Ryzen 3000 CPUs...that something could well be the Generative Fill...

I agree, the ONLY good thing about subscription-based applications for the consumer, is that we always have the latest version with the latest features.  What's the point if they don't support their product?  I don't think the Ryzen 3000 is some niche product only a minority uses?

I've attempted the "more steady" settings, handicapping GPU, refreshing video drivers, uninstalling/reinstalling. The element has never worked for me. My framework breezes through the GPU similarity assessment. I truly trust somebody at Adobe is chipping away at this.

Curiously enough... After not having the incredibly helpful REMOVE tool
work for several days with 24.6.0, yesterday it suddenly worked again for
about five or six applications, and then it started acting up again and
created blocky black areas.

I'm still running Mac OS 12.6.1 due to some video conversion apps that
later updates to the Mac OS disabled.

When this tool works, it is completely remarkable! For example, I had a
photo stitch of 30 images where there was a gap of no information in the
blue sky in the center of the image with some high altitude cirrus clouds.

I really preferred the height of the composition that would include this
area that was missing information. In the past, I would painstakingly use
the clone and healing brush tools to create that missing sky information.
However, in short order, using the remove tool over this blank area of the
canvas created a completely believable continuation of the strato cirrus
clouds against the blue sky! Truly remarkable, and a MASSIVE time saver.

So yes, Adobe... Please fix this for us.
