After renaming a file from the Save For Web dialog, it is impossible to return to Photoshop. It becomes necessary to Force Quit the program. This bug may only affect macOS users.

  1. Open image file.
  2. File, Export, Save For Web (Legacy)
  3. Click Save.
  4. Rename any file from this window (right-click file, Rename)
  5. Click Save, and the file list disappears
  6. Switch to another program and back – the file list reappears
  7. At this point neither Save nor Cancel work.

Photoshop is not unresponsive at this point, but as it is impossible to exit the dialog window, it is necessary to Force Quit the application.

The internal ticket says this was fixed 22.4.1. Let me know if you're still seeing this problem.
