Hi.

Shift+Alt scale from corner on a 45 degree rotated object is acting like scale from side (please take a look at transformation in the end of gif).  The same behavior with rasterized images and smart-objects. The solution for me is to rotate object to about 45 degrees or to apply transformation. Not very friendly to me, because I would like to scale using rules that working on other rotations and because non-proportional scaling is a feature I use less frequently. Is it supposed to work so or just a bug? If I want to scale from side of boundbox, I just apply transformation. That's what I did all the time.

Best regards,

Aleksei

Thanks Aleksei, I agree it's inconsistent with other Adobe applications - but also suspect this behavior has been the same for in PS for 25 years. Let me run it by the engineers and see if it's something we could possibly change.
