Thanks. I'm able to repro. A workaround is to add bit of padding around the logo in the PNG your placing (I increased the canvas size by 5%).

Will anyone fix it? I see it often. Once customer wrote me to fix his logo on the Web.

Seems to me as if SO is trying to artificially shrapen edges.

I've created and internal bug linked to this thread for the engineers to investigate. Hopefully it can be fixed.
